Google 3D Debut on Internet
Two rival browsers announced the launch of a plug in that lets you view images in 3D Net The project is called O3D and was developed by Google and Mozilla.
According to PC Pro, a small application based on JavaScript technology, enabling a browser process complex information related to geometry.
The OpenGL graphics interface was also used, this time for the effects of shade.
The O3D just two rivals meet for the technology sector - a side to Google, which developed the Chrome browser, and the other at Mozilla, which is expanding the market share of Firefox.
Despite the partnership, the O3D is not compatible with C3DL technology, a project similar to the Mozilla developed previously.
Those responsible for the project believe that new technology may prove particularly useful in Web applications or tools that do not require a bulky downloads.
